UV Print
UV Printing (Ultraviolet Printing) is a modern digital printing technology that uses specialized ink cured (instantly dried and hardened) by ultraviolet light. Unlike traditional inks that dry through evaporation, UV ink hardens the moment it’s exposed to UV LEDs — turning liquid into a solid plastic-like layer in milliseconds.
How it works
- Print heads spray tiny droplets of UV-reactive ink onto the surface of the material.
- As the print head moves, built-in UV LED lamps follow right behind it, blasting the wet ink with ultraviolet light.
- A photochemical reaction occurs in real time. The ink polymerizes (hardens) and bonds permanently to the surface — no waiting, no smudging.
What Makes It Special
Because the ink dries instantly, UV printers can print directly onto almost any flat or slightly curved surface, including:
- Wood, glass, ceramic, and stone tiles
- Metal, acrylic, and plastic
- Leather, canvas, and cardboard
- Phone cases, pens, USB drives, golf balls
- Signage, packaging, and promotional items
